How do you make worship lyric slides for church?

Short answerOpen Lyslide (free, no signup, no install), type a song title and let AI find the lyrics or paste your own, mark sections with # and leave a blank line between slides, set the running order in paragraph mode, then export to PowerPoint (PPTX) in one click — or project full-screen straight from the browser.

Steps

  1. Add a song and find the lyrics
Type a title, an artist or the URL of a lyrics page and AI Search fills the lyrics in — or paste your own. Always read what AI found: it makes mistakes. → Add a song and find its lyrics
  2. Cut slides with # and blank lines
A line starting with # names a section (#Verse1, #Chorus); a blank line starts a new slide. Section names are free text. → Text mode: # and blank lines
  3. Auto-paginate
Long slides are split and short ones merged, across the whole song. Text that would overflow is flagged before export, never silently cropped. → Automatic sectioning and pagination
  4. Set the running order
In paragraph mode, click a section to append it and click again to repeat it. The chorus is stored once, so correcting a word corrects every repeat. → Paragraph mode: the running order
  5. Background and layout
Upload your own image, generate one from the lyrics with AI, or pick from the free Pexels library; choose 16:9 or 4:3. → Choose a background
  6. Export or present
PPTX is the default because every church computer opens it; there are 7 formats in all, including PDF, images, OpenLyrics and FreeShow. Or press Present to play it in the browser. → Export: choosing a format
