How do you project worship lyrics from a browser, without presentation software?
Short answerIn Lyslide, press Present beside the "Preview" heading. It opens your own console first and does not go on the wall; when you are ready, press F for full screen or S to send a second window to the projector. Space, the arrow keys, Page Down and an ordinary presenter remote advance slides; B blacks the screen out and T drops the lyrics but keeps the background.
Steps
- Start presenting
Press Present at the top-right of the "Preview" heading. Your console opens first: sections or thumbnails on the left, the live slide in the middle, the next few on the right. → Start presenting - Put it on the projector
Press F for full screen, or S for a second window: lyrics on the projector, the console on your screen. Supported browsers place the output window on the projector screen themselves. → Dual screen: console and output - Advance slides
Space, arrows and Page Down behave as in PowerPoint, so a presenter remote works without setup. Press ? during playback for every key. → Advancing slides - Clear the screen mid-service
B blanks the picture; T keeps the background and drops the words, which suits a spoken announcement. A remote's "." does the same as B. → Clearing the screen mid-service
Worth knowing
- Presenting from the editor needs a window at least 1024px wide; phones and portrait tablets present from a share link instead, which has no such limit.
- The output window's background is the file itself, not a web link, so it survives losing the connection.
- The console mirrors the blackout state, so you never think you are live when the wall is black.
